The UNIDOS team invites you to participate in the UNIDOS HSI Community Listening Sessions taking place this October and November. The aim of the listening sessions is to capture the needs of the community of people served by the NSF HSI Program and inform the direction of future UNIDOS activities. The UNIDOS Center was recently established through a cooperative agreement with the NSF to serve, coordinate and communicate with the HSI community.

We hope this will be an opportunity for you to share what the UNIDOS Center can do to support your efforts to strengthen STEM education and to help us highlight the exceptional work happening at HSIs across the country. Discussion topics and questions include:

• Collaboration – When you think about connecting and collaborating with other people and other institutions, what would help you? What would help the larger community?
• Capacity building in areas such as proposal development, leadership, and equity-focused teaching. Are there specific aspects of proposal development, leadership, and/or equity-focused teaching that we should focus on? Are there other areas that would best support you and/or the larger HSI community?
• HSI voices and perspectives – Whose voices and perspectives do you think we should be paying attention to and elevating?
